Would seem to me that, given the price of gas, a smart person would start considering the advantages and cost of public transportation.
That is, if there are any smart persons in southwest Champaign.
And so it goes.

I started considering that exact thing last week (after having walked most of the summer around town) and found that the local public transportation system isn't as useful as one would want. My husband couldn't use it to get to work (one bus goes to the area on the edge of town he works in, once a day around lunchtime) and I'd have to walk 6 or 7 blocks to get to the closest stop on my route to work, by which point I'd probably just opt to walk the rest of the way. I'm investing in good boots and a new winter coat instead, I think. :)
