Sarah's in town to push a book: http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2013/nov/16/sarah-palin-draws-hundreds-to-book-signing/
Wonder if she had someone to ghost write her signature, too.
And so it goes.

Toad yew
Never was a chance the Ponciana Cell Tower would be moved.
The decision to give parents 3 weeks to convince telecommunications giant Sprint to move the tower was just a sucker move. It was never gonna happen. From the Naples Daily News:
Homeowners in the area held out hope, but it wasn't gonna happen. The deal was done and once the tower went up; it wasn't gonna be undone.
Whether or not the school board snookered the public the entire time is open for debate. But the deal was passed, the contract was signed and Sprint's gonna be giving the school district a buttload of money for the right to place the tower there.
Which I hope means lower taxes. (Ha! At least it might not mean too much higher taxes).
Sorry Ponciana folks. You tried.
But you didn't stand a chance.
And so it goes

Raise your hand if you're surprised. After the Collier County School District gave an organized coalition of parents and community members three weeks to work with service provider Sprint to come to an agreement on moving the tower away from homes and farther from the school’s entrance, Sprint sent a letter declining to move the 75 foot tower.A Tuesday night school board vote formalized what was expected — the tower would not be moved.
